Blurb.com

A friend of mine just told me about another site that will turn your blog into a book. This one is called Blurb.com. You can choose a hardcover or softcover book, up to 440 pages long (enough for thousands of blog posts). You download the software and it imports your text, images, links and comments. You can then edit and customize the pages as much or as little as your want.

I just played with it for a minute, but it seems like a great option to turn your blog into a physical memory. Thanks Michelle!

If anyone has used this site, please let me know what you thought of the process and the book, thanks!

My sister-in-law told me about this last week. She was putting together a recipe book for her family with vintage pictures. You can create just about anything here. I haven't downloaded myself yet, but I plan to. She says it's pretty easy.

(Hi, jumped over from the Holiday Hunt Site)

I downloaded and used the software for the past few months trying to put together a book for my in laws about our summer trip to see them. The software was easy to use but was a HOG in terms of resources required to run it. Because I was running out of time I ended up using Kodak Gallery to do a photo book and was able to add some blog entries we made our trip.

It was great that it imported all the entries and pictures - except that I could never get it to import my pictures... hence I had to quit fighting it.

BUT I still think it was easy to use to create books from scratch or just do writing from blogger...
