Better Than Bear
Ever since LP was tiny, she has had a habit of holding onto my fingers or thumb and digging under my nail. I don't know why she does it, but she used to do it while nursing, when she's on my lap reading a book, holding my hand in the car, etc. Tonight I went up to turn her stars off and found her still awake reading a book. I turned everything off and leaned down to give her a hug when she asked me for my hand. She told me that my nails are better than bear. I didn't think there was anything better than bear, especially because he feels like blueberries.

One of those very special memories of your little girl that will always make you blink back a few little tears. Being a Mom is being so mad about toothpaste all over the bathroom one minute and struggling to keep your heart from bursting with love the next. Never will you ever feel that amazing love quite the same as with your baby. Enjoy every moment.
PS, Sorry I laughed about the toothpaste saga, but that is another good part of being a Mom

That's awesome! It's a comfort thing for her. I love the blueberry reference.
Bleu digs into her skin behind her neck (when she's tired) and above her tushy (anytime a diaper is off). I feel like I always have to explain the red scratches to people. Ha.
