Easter with Friends
This year with our family too far away, we didn't have our usual big, family Easter dinner. Lilypad Dad had to work, so it was just Lilypad Princess and I for the day. But we are very lucky, and have some wonderful friends around us. Munchkinetta and her parents invited Lilypad Princess and I over for dinner with them. LP desperately needed a good nap, so we didn't go for dinner, but went over for dessert and playtime.
Munchkinetta has such a sweet family, they are all so warm, friendly, and welcoming. I felt right at home with them and enjoyed some yummy pistachio cake, port wine, tea and conversation. Lilypad Princess skipped the desserts entirely and went right to cooking her own meal in Munchkinetta's kitchen (I am still very jealous of this kitchen).
LP and Munchkinetta spent the evening playing dress up, piano, Little People and cooking. There were lots of hugs going around and at the end of the night, two tired little girls in their pajamas wanted to have a sleepover in the dress-up trunk.

We are so sorry to be so far away this holiday, but it was even better being able to be with you every minute for the 12 days a little before Easter. We love you and are glad you had a good Easter Sunday.
Love, Nana and Pop-Pop
We were delighted you came over. The girls had fun with each other and I'm glad you and I were able to talk.
Ahhh, cute! They look so happy. I'm glad the girls spent Easter evening together.
