After the egg hunt was over, Lilypad Dad headed back to bed and Lilypad Princess and I had breakfast together. Then it was time to get ready to go to church. She was very excited to wear her beautiful dress from Nannie and Grandpa. She was even willing to smile and show it off for the camera!
After church was over, Lilypad Princess and I decided to try out her new Easter bubbles in the backyard for a while since it was a beautiful day out.
Just like her Auntie La, Lilypad Princess can't be outside for 5 minutes without getting dirty. Here she is showing me her dirty knees. Then it was time to head inside for a nice nap.

Her dress was adorable. I love the stripes and I love the pink on LP. I'm not used to seeing her in that color, but it's so sweet for her.
Is that a yoyo in the picture? I miss yoyos.
I love the dress- it's adorable! I also love that she was still allowed to play and get dirty in her cute clothes- I think that is so important for kids to be able to be kids!
that's my niece! I bet you can't wait until she's old enough to be neck deep in muck at Ecka's lake like her auntie la! :-)
