This past Sunday, we were invited to the Blue House on a Hill to celebrate the Chinese New Year. Lilypad Princess, Buby, Munchkinetta, and Shaelin (along with the moms and dads) have a great afternoon and evening of delicious food, dress-up, trains, talk, and more. All of the kids were dressed in beautiful Chinese outfits, unfortunately we never got one of all the kids together. And once the dress up trunk came out, it wasn't like you could really see the cute outfits anyway. But here is Lilypad Princess in her outfit from Uncle Dave and Uncle Michael as we were getting ready to walk out the door.
Dress up was the hit of the night, even Buby got into the action with a red and white fur cape and a mint green tutu as a hat. Munckinetta was so busy changing from one outfit to another that I don't think anyone got any pictures of her in costume. Actually, this picture is thanks to Buby's mom, since I didn't really get any pictures while we were there, I was too busy eating all the delicious food!
For details of the party, including the menu and pictures of the yummy food and beautiful decorations, check out Blue House Mom's party recap post.
Here are three of the kids enjoying the best cheesecake I think I've ever had.

You're so kind. We had a great day with friends. Thank you for coming. It meant so much to us. Glad the dress-up clothes were a big hit!
I ate so much, and I wish I had eaten more. The leftovers that we did bring home were gone before we even went to bed that night!! Agree that the dress-up trunk was the hit, along with the train table and the tricycle.
