Tonight while we were having dinner, Lilypad Princess saw me put some lime juice in my water and wanted some too. She proudly told me that she was having a go mumps drink, or a grown-up drink. I love toddler speak, and since she's starting to lose some of it for the real pronounciation of words, I want to start recording it so I don't forget. Here are some of my current favorites.
Go Mumps = grownups
Ray-A-Bow = rainbow
Fossa = Forster (already being lost to the correct pronounciation)
FuFies = butterflies
Fesh Fies = french fries
Gwampa = Grandpa
Happy Feet = penguin

Go Mumps is hysterical! And I love Happy Feet! LP has the sweetest, tiniest voice. It's so light and airy.
Love the words!! Love how a room of toddlers might all pronounce the same word a little differently... it's cool!
