Touchdown, Score!
LP and her friend Alessandro went bowling for the first time this week. We went to the local bowling alley and had the entire place to ourselves. We took over 2 lanes, one for the adults and one with the bumpers for the kids. Some brand new red and blue shoes, a special lightweight ball and we were ready to go.
She is definitely mommy's girl, she has the Crossman tongue.
There's the tongue again. She's concentrating hard on the pins.
LP and Alessandro loved it. The ball would be pushed down the alley, then they would run up the steps, have some crunch, play with the chairs, then run back down to watch it hit the pins. Yes, it did take 2-4 minutes for the ball to make it all the way down. I was amazed that the ball could actually still be moving when it was that slow. Every time a pin was hit they would yell something sports related, including "Touchdown!", "Score!" or "I Win!"
Touchdown!
I win!
Not bad for a couple of first time bowlers. In fact, LP scored better than her Daddy in the first game!

I LOVE these photos! When did she get so old. Glad you guys enjoyed yourself. Did you go to the alley I told you about or did you find another.. closer to you?
Not only are the pictures and comments great, I think I will forward these to the "bowling team" where Daddy works. I am certain these guys would like to know how well Daddy bowls. Maybe I could loan him my pumpkin sweater next time he goes.......
When did she get so big? She's so adorable, but it is so hard to envision her that big since the last time I seen her!
Princess,
that looks like such fun!!!
Lets make a date to go bowling at the beach this year.
I bet you can beat me too!
Hugs and Kisses, Nana
Hey Princess,
I'm positive you will beat me too when we go bowling at the beach. Your Auntie La will need you to give her lessons. And It's good to know that I'm not the only one who yells out TOUCHDOWN! when they knock over a pin :-)
Love,
Auntie La
Well just goes to show you she's a Crossman Girl. We don't always get that sports stuff right.
Just ask Auntie Diane about the time she made the front page of the newspaper :-)
