October is here, and so are our Halloween books. There are our two current nightly favorites.

First one looks scary. So what's LP going to be? We have a ton of pumpkin books but are lacking in the Halloween category. His first introduction to Halloween was "Pooh's Heffalump Halloween," a DVD he found at Grandma DJ's house. They watched it together and then he brought it home. Even though he LOVES it there are parts he whines are way "too scary, Mama." Ha.

Actually, the Spooky Hour book isn't scary at all. Shivermore Street could be slightly scary, but Spooky Hour is really cute. The drawings make everyone look happy and friendly and they all have a big party together at the end. There is one page that we always have to stop at so LP can stare take the time to look at everyone on it. That's the book she has chosen to read to herself after I leave every night too.

We don't know what she is going to be since it chances everyday. She rotates between wanting to be Angelina Ballerina, a Witch, a Pirate, and a Butterfly. Of course she says princess too, but since she does princess for dress up every day I told her to try something different for Halloween.
