A Day On The Farm

View of the farm

Lilypad Princess and I were invited to go on a hayride today at a friend's family farm. The farm is beautiful, the colors and wonderful smells of rosemary and basil made you just want to stand and enjoy. The farm has been in their family for over 130 years and is now a specialty herb and vegetable producer. We took a hayride out into the fields where we picked pumpkins, peppers, eggplant, rosemary, and purple basil until our arms and hands were full. Then we headed back to enjoy a little snack and enjoy the company before heading home. I keep walking back into my kitchen to smell the rosemary. Thank you so much for the wonderful day Jenny!

The Colors in your photographs are fantastic! Sounds like you and Princess had a wonderful day. LP's sweater really gets around... didn't it do photos at the ocean last year?
Enjoy the basil... real aromatherapy.

Love, Mom

What a gorgeous place! Yes, I remember this sweater from the ocean last year, too! I have one shot of LP smelling flowers printed out for Buby's "who loves me" book.
