Today Lilypad Princess, Lilypad Dad and I colored Easter eggs. This was LP's first time coloring eggs, and she had a great time. I hard-boiled a dozen eggs this morning, and after she finished them she wanted to do more. Here is the coloring session in photos.
Starting off by coloring on an egg with crayon
Dipping the eggs in the color
Picasso hard at work an another egg
She decided the fingers worked better than the spoon
The whole hand works even better than the fingers. Yes, her hand is a shade of blue.
Her very first Easter egg ever.

Looks like y'all had fun!!!
Great photos. Looks like she had fun.
The egg shots are just beautiful!! And I love the natural light shining in on LP. Are those cardboard egg stands??
By the way, I completely forgot about crayons on eggs. That's a good idea. Buby just dipped. We always used white crayons as kids.
You did such a wonderful job painting Lily Pad Princess.... Pop-Pop and I are so proud of you!
Hugs, Nana
