A Pirate and A Princess (Disney Day 5)
On Friday, the Lilypad Family spent the day together, just the three of us. Pop Steve went to visit his aunt for the day, Nana and Auntie La headed off to EPCOT together, and we spent the day sleeping in, swimming and napping. Around 4 in the afternoon we headed off to the Magic Kingdom for a special Pirate & Princess Party.
The Magic Kingdom closed early to the public, and was only open for party participants. It was a wonderful way to see the Magic Kingdom, most of the rides were open but there were no lines for them. We rode the Barnstormer Rollercoaster 3 times in a row without even having to get off. There were also special events set up throughout the park and we were able to meet all of the princesses and Captain Jack Sparrow. LP loved being up front and center for the shows around the park.
We missed the special parade because Lilypad Princess did not want to leave Sebastian's Undersea Dance Party, but we really enjoyed the fireworks.

Okay, Mike can never again tease Tom about his dorky birthday candle hat. This TAKES THE CAKE!!! Definitely worthy of Pirates of the Caribbean. LP looks so happy. I'm glad you had a lazy day and such a fun night! Does your camera have a special fireworks function? That picture is amazing.
It must have been the time of LP's life!!!
OMG, that party looks and sounds amazing! I can hardly wait to do stuff like that with my girls. Princess Lily looks simply divine in her princess-wear!
Don't you just want to stay there forever... I felt like I was 10 years old when I was there... but after looking at the prices... reality set in...
So did she wear the dress then entire week? the Pirates and Princess party sounds amazing! The after hours with no lines is another dream come true. BP rode the Barnstormer, her favorite, three tiems in a row without getting off too. You cannot beat it and then you find you are spoiled and do not want to wait in any lines the next day, right?
Oh did you see Tinkerbell fly across the sky from the castle? That had such an impact on BP...
